Start Time: Sunday 13 November 2022. Meet at 09.45 am for 10.00 am start.

Start and Finish: Public Car Park Hughenden Church  Postcode HP14 4LA.

Park at the entrance to the grounds on the left – available space will depend on the church congregation and the number of other walkers & cyclists parking up etc.

The walk starts at Hughenden Manor / Church, former home of Benjamin Disraeli, and crosses hills and valleys in an area of great rural charm to the North of High Wycombe. Wonderful setting and great walking country, visit the burial ground of Disraeli. Excellent café on completion of the walk.

Difficulty: Leisurely – 9.5 miles.

A shorter walk can be completed in the village of Speen. Leave a car at The Old Plow, Flowers Bottom Lane, Speen – Postcode HP27 0PZ .

Getting there from Aylesburyapprox 14 Miles:

Follow A4010 to Princess Risborough, continue on the A4010 to West Wycombe. Join the A40 heading in the direction of High Wycombe to the junction with A4128 to Hughenden Church signposted on the left. The church is approximately 2 miles North of High Wycombe – Postcode HP14 4LA.

Getting There from Oxford : approx 33 miles:

Follow the M40 South to Junction 4 High Wycombe, take the A40 for approximately 0.5 mile, and follow A4128 to Hughenden Church signposted on the left. The church is approximately 2 miles North of High Wycombe – Postcode HP14 4LA.

Waypoints: 

Start – From St Michaels and All Angels Church cross the A4128 road to GR 868955. Follow FP gently uphill to Cryers Hill. Walk past village school and White Lion PH. Follow FP via Gomm’s Wood on to The Harrow PH at GR 860975. Follow FP to Walters Ash and Naphill Common and onward to Le De Spencers Arms PH, then return to Hughenden Manor  Finish
