Walkers should be equipped with the following :

  • Walking boots that support the ankle
  • Rucksack or backpack to be worn on the shoulders
  • Waterproof jacket
  • Walking trousers – not jeans
  • Additional clothing dependant on the time of the year and the weather – Fleece, Gloves, Hat, Waterproof Trousers
  • Snacks, sandwiches, juice, glucose tablets
  • Suntan cream, whistle, camera
